Appoint chooses dgtgroup for NATO kiosks: software and services come together
NATO command in Naples and a mission in Kosovo
The Genk-based company Appoint recently secured two assignments for NATO: one for NATO command in Naples and one for the mission in Kosovo. That news is the starting point for a unique story in which dgtgroup is responsible for all kiosks. The collaboration shows how software and the right physical technology can complement each other. We also look at applications where digital signage further optimizes operations and visitor communication.
A kiosk is a gateway to services
A digital kiosk can give visitors independent access to information, services, or interactive applications. The exact setup depends on various processes: a kiosk must align with what visitors need and with the way employees work together. That is why a good project does not start with the device, but with the question it must answer.
In a public environment, a kiosk makes information more accessible or guides visitors to the right service. A clear interface and logical placement help people find their way independently, while staff have to answer the same practical questions less often.
Software and hardware that fit together
A kiosk only works well when the software and hardware are designed as one solution. The application must respond smoothly on the screen, the controls must be intuitive, and the device must suit the location and use. By working together, Appoint and dgtgroup can combine their expertise.
For dgtgroup, that approach fits into a broader role: bringing technology together around the needs of people and organizations. From kiosks to digital communication on screens: we think along about the right application and make sure the components are aligned with each other and with the customer.
Giving technology meaning together
The collaboration with Appoint does not stop with these kiosks. Not every building or process requires the same solution. That is why we start from practice: who uses the application, what information needs to be available, and how does the technology fit into daily operations? This advisory approach keeps the solution workable, scalable, and tailored to the environment.
