The idea that a strong digital experience always has to be big and expensive is not true
The right extras make all the difference
At dgtgroup, we like to showcase our large projects: complete experience centers, immersive spaces where image, sound, and interaction merge into one story. Impressive achievements, no doubt. But the idea that a strong digital experience always has to be big and expensive is not true. Even a limited investment can have a surprisingly big impact. The key is not the budget or the amount of technology, but a clear action plan. In this article, we show how something as simple as a touchscreen can still create an experience your audience will remember.
A touchscreen is more than a screen
If you mainly want to inform visitors and teach them something—really get it into their heads—then simple but effective hardware is often enough: a touchscreen. It is entirely possible to create a fully interactive experience with a touchscreen as well. Visitors become actively involved, start exploring on their own, and as a result remember your message much better. Passive viewing becomes doing, and doing sticks.
