Continued increase in demand for AV services

Digital improvements

Although the pandemic is far behind us, it has had a lasting impact on both the economic and social spheres. It not only temporarily halted travel and live events, but also led to the large-scale adoption of remote and hybrid working. Since then, these changes have continued at a rapid pace.

Across all sectors

In various sectors including the corporate world, event venues, retail, transport, education and hospitality, there has been a lasting increase in demand for AV services in recent months. This is mainly a response to the workplace revolution caused by the lockdowns. Transport locations such as airports and train stations are undergoing digital upgrades with improved security and surveillance systems. Retailers, experiencing an increase in visitor numbers, are making the most of this growth by renewing or expanding their digital screens. We are also seeing more consultations in healthcare taking place virtually, contributing to shorter waiting times and improved care outcomes. In the corporate world, debates continue about physical office work and embracing the flexibility offered by hybrid working. This has led to a growing demand for high-quality solutions for meetings, education and digital signage.

Tipping Point

Virtual classrooms

The idea for the virtual campus originated in the north of the Netherlands, where schools are confronted daily with a double challenge: a shortage of teachers and declining student numbers. Instead of looking for emergency solutions such as bus transport or cutting subjects, a teacher from Sneek decided to take a different approach. What if you don't move the lessons, but connect the classrooms virtually?

The importance of support

As companies adapt to new ways of working and redesign office spaces to provide more AV-supported workplaces, the need for adequate support is growing ever greater. Whether this support is provided remotely or on site, one thing is clear: when systems fail, every minute they are out of operation counts. After all, AV solutions are designed to connect people and processes. However, when the technology fails, it becomes an obstacle rather than a tool and productivity comes to a standstill. It is therefore essential that organisations invest not only in high-quality AV technology, but also in its support. This ensures that teams can continue to collaborate efficiently and that business processes run smoothly, regardless of the circumstances.
