Interactive design with Virtual Reality

Step into the virtual space

Experience a meeting room or AV installation before anything has even been installed? With Virtual Reality, dgtgroup lets you walk through your future space. An AV project on paper or in a technical drawing remains abstract. Thanks to VR design, dgtgroup makes it concrete: you step into the space virtually, see exactly where screens, cameras, speakers and controls will go, and experience how everything works together before the first drill comes out. That prevents surprises and misunderstandings. Decisions are made faster and better, adjustments are made in the design instead of afterwards on site, and everyone — from decision-maker to end user — knows exactly what they are getting.

That is how dgtgroup makes complex AV projects tangible, understandable and predictable. Certainty and control, from design to delivery.

Sustainable approach

The idea for the virtual campus originated in the north of the Netherlands, where schools are confronted daily with a double challenge: a shortage of teachers and declining student numbers. Instead of looking for emergency solutions such as bus transport or cutting subjects, a teacher from Sneek decided to take a different approach. What if you don’t move the lessons, but virtually connect the classrooms?

As if you are sitting together in one room.

The strength of our solution lies in its simplicity. The classrooms are digitally connected through a smart setup. With a direct connection between the locations, multiple screens, cameras and microphones, everyone experiences the same lesson in real time and without delay. And it feels as if you are together in one room.
