The digital heartbeat of the municipality of Dilbeek
One network that informs, connects and energizes a municipality
Dilbeek, a vibrant municipality in Flemish Brabant just a stone's throw from the capital, is known for its green character and rich history. The municipality embraces modern technology and, with a digital signage network of more than ten screens, has a powerful channel at its disposal to inform its residents. At dgtgroup, we translated that ambition into one cohesive network that makes services run more smoothly and brings the community closer together.
A clear first impression
Anyone entering the beautiful town hall is immediately guided by the screens. From relaxing news to important citizen communications: a dynamic scenario even makes waiting in line pleasant. This gives services a better stage, current announcements and local events are shared with visitors and staff, and perceived waiting times decrease. The result is streamlined communication that noticeably improves every citizen's experience.
Culture and sport that bring the municipality to life
Using screens to promote sports and cultural events proves to be an excellent way to increase community engagement. Visually appealing announcements spark interest and give activity registrations a strong boost. In this way, these initiatives enrich social life and contribute to a healthy, active municipality where there is always something to do.
Extensive, yet always clear
Behind that convenience lies thoughtful management. Each screen can be targeted individually via our own Centoview platform, while the municipality can also address large screen groups at the same time for general or urgent messages. Thanks to a link with YESplan, the network works as an automated bridge: as soon as an employee creates or changes a meeting, sports event or course, that information automatically appears on the right screens – for example the daily schedule in the cultural center. Management takes place in one central location, distribution happens automatically and in real time. No fragmented information, just the right message at the right time and in the most relevant location.
