This year as well, dgtgroup was responsible for the complete audiovisual setup of the NIDV Exhibition Defence & Security (NEDS), the largest one-day international Defence & Security event in the Netherlands. One day, one chance to shine β and that calls for technology that simply works.Β
The stage for the defense industryΒ
At Rotterdam Ahoy, the sector gathered for a day full of meetings, insights and innovations. For the occasion, we provided the complete stage design and technical setup of a specially fitted conference hall. The central stage featured a striking runway β a nod to the main sponsor β making it the beating heart of the program. Around that stage, we built an environment that effortlessly immersed 950 conference participants in everything happening on stage.Β
Images that captivate, sound that carries, light that directsΒ
The eye-catcher above the stage was an LED screen measuring 4 by 7 meters, flanked by two LED wings of 5 by 3 meters. A complete video control setup with two manned telephoto cameras, shading, recording, monitoring and presentation technology ensured that every word and every image came across with crystal clarity. The sound relied on Adamson line array clusters, subwoofers and stage monitoring, supplemented by multiple wireless headsets and handheld microphones. And the lighting tied everything together: Arri LED Fresnels for the stage, one hundred CLF Yaras for the hall and show lighting with moving heads gave the whole setup the right dynamism and atmosphere.Β
A hall ready down to the last detailΒ
A successful event is about more than technology alone. That is why we also took care of the complete styling of the hall: 950 conference chairs, a green decor including large palm trees, a carefully finished backdrop behind the stage, and pipes & drapes throughout the entire space. In no time at all, a bare hall was transformed into a coherent, professional conference environment in which nothing was left to chance.Β
