BNP Paribas Fortis: offices that make the digital story tangible
BNP Paribas Fortis chooses dgtgroup
Since May 2009, Fortis Bank has been part of BNP Paribas. Under the commercial name BNP Paribas Fortis, the bank offers a complete range of financial services for individuals, self-employed professionals, liberal professions, and small and medium-sized enterprises. For insurance, BNP Paribas Fortis works closely with AG Insurance, the largest insurer in Belgium. In addition, the bank offers specialized solutions for high-net-worth individuals, public institutions, and financial institutions, also drawing on the expertise of the international network of the BNP Paribas Group.
The challenge: one consistent story, in every office
BNP Paribas is a leading European financial group with global reach: the largest deposit bank in the eurozone and, according to Standard & Poor's, one of the six most solid banks in the world. The group has 200,900 employees in 84 countries. A bank branch today is much more than a counter. It is a physical point of contact where trust, advice, and experience come together.
Digital signage in all bank branches
For BNP Paribas Fortis, dgtgroup is building a digital signage network that transforms the branches into lively digital communication channels. We approach this in two layers that reinforce each other: the storefront to the outside world and the communication inside.
Window displays: attract attention and invite people in
The storefront is the first point of contact with passers-by — even outside opening hours. With clear, highly visible window displays, the bank dynamically showcases its offerings and promotions:
- Visibility day and night — powerful screens that stand out even in bright daylight and attract the attention of passers-by.
- Always up-to-date messages — campaigns, interest rates, opening hours, and local promotions centrally managed and instantly displayed on every screen.
- Promotion of the digital offering — the storefront invites people to discover the bank's digital services and smoothly guides visitors inside.
Indoor communication: inform, advise, and reassure
Inside the branch, the screens guide the visitor throughout their entire journey, from reception to the advice conversation:
- Reception and waiting experience — screens at the entrance and in the waiting area inform and relax visitors with relevant content and a smooth pace.
- Product information and advice — displays at the counter and in the advisory rooms support the conversation and make complex financial services understandable and tangible.
- Internal communication — the same infrastructure also reaches employees with internal updates, allowing the network to communicate both to customers and to the team.
- Consistency across the entire network — every branch shows the same corporate identity and the same core message, with room for local accents where relevant.
Central management, locally relevant
The strength of this approach lies in its management. Through one central platform, the bank controls all screens — across all branches — efficiently, securely, and flexibly. Content is created once and rolled out immediately, per branch or per region, without technical worries. This keeps communication always up to date, while local teams can focus on their customers. dgtgroup takes care of everything: from design and installation to content, updates, and support.
